Mustang Art
OK,
So I took some art time on a 1968 hot-rod mustang I am rebuilding. I decided that since I am painting her a new color and replacing the stock fenders that it left me an open canvas to doodle upon. Here is the result of that afternoon's work. I have to give credit to You-tube and Sharpie for the idea. The markers do very well on paint as long as you do not get any alchohol on it(which you can use to fix mistakes).. I have to experiment with a sealer or a clearcoat that won't make it run. I found that a couple of light mistings with a good clear will work, but it has to be done very lightly in stages or it will run and ruin your work. I use alchohol and Q-tips to clean the edges before sealing. I also took some photos and ran down to the local vinyl shop to vectorize the picture so it could later be used as a sticker.... This is how they turned out...Patrick
